Job Summary

The National Account Manager - (Food, Drug, Mass) is a vital role within the sales organization. The purpose of the role is penetrate additional F,D,M accounts as well as manage a pre-established book of business. Additionally, the role will be responsible for growing the territory profitably. Sigura is in Growth Mode and needs talented individuals to help us grow.   Key Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate new Food, Drug, Mass Accounts
  • Strengthen existing relationships, grow new business, and maintain frequent contact with retailer partners
  • Analyze customer demand, sales volumes, current and future trends
  • Develop creative ways to sell products using various data sources
  • Developing internal and external presentations for trade and inside the organization
  • Strategize and recommend promotional plans which meet specific customer needs and company sales goals
  • Prepare merchandising, advertising and assortment proposals
  • Create a cooperative atmosphere between the company and customer, resulting in programs that benefit both
  • Forecast projected monthly and annual shipments accurately to maintain customer and company inventories
  • Prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends, retail sales, individual account trends and competitive activity

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 5+ years experience in Sales Management
  • Sales experience in a consumer products organization preferably across multiple brands
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Experience in trade marketing or category management strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to bring insights to the category and contributes to sales growth
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize data
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and build relationships
  • Solid analytical skills and acute attention to details
  • Strong project management skills
