Business Justification:

Wholesale Risk Analytics (WRA) is part of Global Risk Analytics (GRA). WRA provides decision support services to enable our banking and markets, wealth management, capital management and credit risk business partners to manage risk well.  To accomplish this, we build, develop and maintain models for risk and loss measurement.  Additionally we produce and administer forecasts supporting allowance and stress-testing both domestically and internationally.  WRA also provides advanced portfolio and ad hoc business intelligence, analytics and analysis to our business partners. 

Role Overview:

Business Strategy and Governance team members support the WRA functions by providing expertise in operational risk, project portfolio management, and organizational development.  Candidate must exhibit ability to collaborate across the Enterprise, including with HR, PMO, Finance, Vendor Management and Compliance and Audit functions. Strong communication and presentation skills necessary to provide the support structure to wide range of stakeholders. Candidate would provide support on various processes and strategies to ensure organizational deliverables and routines are met.  Will  coordinate the production of performance reports for senior mgt. Review and analyze trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. May participate in or develop complex program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modelling.

Skills, Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant business organization.

  • Experience building data architecture that is optimized for large dataset retrieval, analysis, storage, cleansing, and transformation.

  • Experience with engineering complex, multifaceted processes that span across teams; Able to document process steps, inputs, outputs, requirements, identify gaps and improve workflow.

  • Strong programming skills, e.g. Python, SQL, SAS, Tableau

  • Experience building data architecture that is optimized for large dataset retrieval, analysis, storage, cleansing, and transformation.

  • Experience with complex data architecture, including modeling and data science tools and libraries, data warehouses, and machine learning.

  • Ability to extract, analyze, and merge data from disparate systems, and perform deep analysis.

  • Experience using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data for model development and/or to produce management reporting.

Skills, Desired:

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Strong presentation skills a plus.

  • Programming Alteryx is desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum to achieve results.

  • Team player, self-starter with ability to work across multi-layered organization.

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
