At 3:17 p.m. on December 25, the D37# wind turbine of the Qian’an wind power project was put into operation, marking that the Jarud-Qingzhou 1GW wind power base project invested by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (“Guohua Investment” for short) under CHN Energy achieved full-capacity grid connection.

The wind power base project, located in Qian’an and Changling counties in Songyuan City, Jilin Province, consists of the Qian’an 500MW wind power project and the Changling 500MW wind power project, with a total of 250 4MW wind turbines. Listed among the “major projects” of Jilin Province, it is an important part of the Jilin-to-Shandong power transmission project. After it began operation, it would annually transmit clean electricity of 3 billion kWh to Shandong Province, saving about 1.1 million tons of standard coal and reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 1,122 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 617,200 tons each year.
