Daduhe Company Helps Construction of ‘Electricity Sichuan Road’ for Clean Energy Transmission

Daduhe Company under China Energy launched the construction of the Gansu-Sichuan electricity transmission project, a key renovation project of Sichuan Grid, on April 6. The project aims to optimize the special operating mode of hydropower stations along the Dahu River, ensure interprovincial electricity transmission balance, and help construction of a power expressway to remove barriers blocking the outward transmission of clean hydroelectricity generated by hydropower stations in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

Due to limited capacity of outward electricity transmission channels, hydropower stations in Garze often fail to effectively transmit electricity they generated during the rainy reason. Under the arrangement of Sichuan Grid, the Gansu-Sichuan electricity transmission project was launched to solve the problem that transmission channels lag behind the demand of installed capacity, so as to effectively enhance the outward hydroelectricity transmission capability in Garze and other Tibetan-inhabited regions of Sichuan and Gansu. The company’s Houziyan Hydropower Station, the largest energy enterprise in Garze, is a key component of the project, playing a vital role in maintaining the safe, stable operation of the grid in western Sichuan during the construction of the project.
