China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Ltd (CSAIL), a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG)’s overseas business arm China Three Gorges International Corporation (CTGI), completed the delivery of the Alcazar project on August 19, marking CTG’s expansion of the overseas clean energy investments into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
With a total installed capacity of 411,000 kilowatts, the Alcazar project consists of five photovoltaic power stations and two wind farms in Egypt and Jordan.
With a long-standing reputation and rich development experience in the international clean energy market, CTGI, in collaboration with its long-term close partners such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Silk Road Fund, secured the project and successfully delivered it.
