Yangtze Ecology and Environment Co., the environment business arm of the China Three Gorges Corp. (CTG), have resumed or started in the first quarter all the Yangtze River protection projects that were previously suspended due to the COVID-19 epidemic or new projects slated for this year.
The projects were kicked off in 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, while investment work also progressed well.
Three Yangtze River protection projects in Wuhan with a total investment of RMB 7.59 billion have started construction. Meanwhile, the company has made RMB 1.791 billion in Yangtze River projection projects with 15 deals signed. In total, 159 projects have started with execution, quality and safety are all in good control.
The company has achieved a triple wins as it smoothly pushed forward the project, maintained quality and safety and prevented and controlled the pandemic.
