CTG’s Shanghai institute passes completion acceptance for fish habitat project

Shanghai Investigation, Design & Research Institute, an affiliate of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), announced that it has passed the completion acceptance for its fish habitat project at the tail area of Wudongde Reservoir.

As the first EPC program for fish habitat protection undertaken by the institute, the project will play an active role in improving fish habitat protection system in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River.

Located at the Jinsha River, a tribunary of Yangtze River, the project includes design, engineering and construction of an artificial spawning ground covering about 60,000 square meters.

The completion of the project marks a major achievement for the institute in the fields of fish protection and ecological restoration in hydropower industry.
