China Energy donated 5.9 million yuan to support disaster relief in the flood-hit Suixian County, Hubei Province on August 14.
The Suizhou power plant is the largest single investment project of China Energy in Suizhou City, Hubei Province. Meanwhile, China Energy is advancing construction of its 1 GW new energy base in Suixian County under the jurisdiction of Suizhou City. The Hubei branch of China Energy said that the corporation is taking its social responsibility to support post-disaster reconstruction in Suixian County, and will accelerate the construction of its 1 GW new energy base in the county and comprehensively plan rooftop PV and pump energy storage power plants across the county, so as to make greater contribution to the county’s economic and social recovery and development.
