Huaneng Entitled “Leader Enterprise” of CSR

At the “3rd International Forum on CSR” held in Beijing on April 25, 2008, the “2007 Golden Bee CSR • China List”was released. China Huaneng Group won the title of “2007 Leader Enterprise” on the list.

The Golden Bee CSR Selection Expert Committee holds that China Huaneng Group has actively implemented the idea of sustainable development that has “3-color company” as core (i.e. “red” company that serves the socialism with Chinese characteristics; “green” company that focuses on science, technology and environmental protection; “blue” company that advances with the times, learns, innovates and gets globally oriented), earnestly fulfilled its social responsibility and achieved marked results in the coordinated development of economy, environment and society.

It is reported that the list is released once a year. This time, there are 12 enterprises awarded the title of “2007 Leader Enterprise” on the list.
