CTG and EDP hold training kick-off program in Lisbon

CTG and its longstanding partner EDP held jointly an opening ceremony for the 2nd CTG/EDP YPP (Young Professional Program) in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal on July 1, kicking off a two-month long training workshop for 22 young employees from CTG, EDP and CEM.

The training program will run for two months in total and will have sessions in both China and Portugal. A total of 22 selected employees will receive trainings in cross-cultural communication, energy market overview, power distribution business, digital transformation, risk management and innovative thinking in the July session held in Portugal.

In September, trainees will start the second part of the training workshop called "Trip to China to know the Three Gorges", which will allow trainees to get familiar with subjects such as Chinese history and traditional culture, large-scale hydropower project construction, operation and maintenance of power unit, cascade operation and offshore wind power development, etc.
