China Energy Investment Corporation: Sustainability-Driven Social Responsibility Management Launched

The second edition of the Central SOEs’ Social Responsibility Management series under the guidance of the Bureau of Sci-Tech Innovation and Social Responsibility of SASAC was launched in Beijing on June 23. China Energy Investment Corporation: Sustainability-Driven Social Responsibility Management was among the three books launched simultaneously, and the other two were compiled by China Three Gorges Corporation and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., respectively.

For a long time, China Energy has attached great importance to fulfilling its social responsibility. Based on China’s national conditions and the features of the energy industry, after years of efforts, it has formed a sustainability-driven social responsibility management pattern with ensuring supply of sustainable energy as the goal, high-level demonstration, reorganization and responsibility culture as the characteristics, and clean development of fossil energy and large-scale development of clean energy as the theme.

The book China Energy Investment Corporation: Sustainability-Driven Social Responsibility Management gives a complete and systematic analysis on China Energy’s political, economic, social and ecological responsibilities, which is a phased review of the company’s achievements in fulfillment of social responsibility as well as milestone in its responsibility management.
