CRE representative visited CEC

On 16^th March, Yang Kun, CEC executive vice president of CEC and Wei Zhaofeng, vice president of CEC met with Joe Laurent Rastel and other representatives of CRE.

Yang welcomed CRE’ visit on behalf of CEC. He briefly introduced CEC and expressed the development of China electricity, “Thirteen-five” planning in energy and electricity industry, clean energy, reform of power system and power market regulation. Also, he answered the question of China’s renewables grid connection, smart grid and energy internet.  

Mr.Rastel briefly introduced the history and functions of CRE and the purpose of this delegation's research in China. He introduced latest development direction of European and French electricity system and market. He said China’s development goals for renewables plays an important role in global energy industry.

Both sides expressed that China-France cooperation in the field of electricity has a long history. The two countries will maintain contact and communication, and promote next exchanges and cooperation.
