Wang Zhixuan attended the first China Southern Power Grid (Boao) Smart Grid Development Forum

The first China Southern Power Grid (Boao) Smart Grid Development Forum on the theme of “Developing Smart Grid to Promote Energy Transformation” was held on December 14th in Boao, Hainan.Hundreds of representatives from the National Energy Administration, the China Electricity Council, the Hainan Provincial Government, and electricity industry associations gathered to discuss the vision and blueprint for smart grid development and share smart grid development technologies and experiences.

Wang pointed out that the smart grid is a huge system engineering, and is the direction of the future development of the integrated technology of the power industry. It requires a long-term process. With the acceleration of the energy electrification process and the increasing proportion of electricity in the terminal energy consumption, the smart grid will become the core and foundation of the smart energy network.

Wang suggested that the role of smart grid in smart energy should be scientifically positioned, and the top-level design of smart grid should be done well,established the the evaluation index system and the corresponding accountability mechanism.
