The inaugural meeting of Technical Committee for Standardization of Application of Power Engineering Information Model of China Electric Council was held successfully in Chengdu

On August 7, 2020, the inaugural meeting of Technical Committee for Standardization of Application of Power Engineering Information Model of China Electric Council was held in Chengdu(Hereinafter referred to as "The Committee"). Nearly 40 representatives from State Grid Corporation, China Southern Power Grid, Inner Mongolia Electric Power (Group) Co., Ltd., Power China, China Electric Power PlannigPlanning & Engineering Institute, and other unitscompanies and organizations attended the meeting.

The meeting read out Tthe approval documents for the establishment of the Committee were released on the meeting and issued employment certificates to the selected committee membersrepresentatives of the committees were issued certificates., The meeting clarified the mission and ideas of the Committee’s work, and discussed and deployed the future development direction and annual key work plans of the Committee were discussed.

The Committee is a group standardization organization under the China Electricity Council. It aims to do a good job instrengthening the top-level design of the BIM technology standardization work in the electric power field based on the emerging demandsneeds of of big data applications, the preparation of standards, and the promotion of verification applications.
