Yang Kun attended the 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo

Guiyang, May 26, 2021 /CEC/ - The four-day China International Big Data Industry Expo, or Big Data Expo -- the world’s first expo themed on big data -- opened on May 26, 2021 in Guiyang, the capital city of southwest China’s Guizhou province. 

Hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Internet Information Office and the Guizhou Provincial  Government, the annual Event was held both online and offline this year and showcased cutting-edge big data technologies. For is six editions, the Big Data Expo attracted more than 200 enterprises and institutions from various countries and regions, including global corporate icons and domestic giants. The Event has become the worldwide leading platform created opportunities for the development of big data in Guizhou province but contributed Chinese wisdom and solutions to global big data industry.

At the Opening Ceremony of the Big Data Expo 2021, Liu He, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Vice-Premier of State Council delivered the Welcome Note through video link from Beijing. Government officials from the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Guizhou Province also attended the Event by video or onsite. Yang Kun, the Executive Vice President of the China Electricity Council, was invited to attend the Event as well. In conjunction with The Big Data Expo, high end forums were also organized to share China's actions in leading new growth in the digital economy.
